BEHIND THE DESK
During 34 years, Steve Villatoro has developed business technologies geared toward emerging and challenged businesses. He directs consumer sales and service promotions for major automotive OEMs and large dealer groups, and provides private client consulting to small businesses. He headed the marketing department of a national retail franchisor for seven years. Villatoro holds a marketing degree from Arizona State University.

At 37, dissatisfied with corporate life, Steve Villatoro sold everything and took the first bus out of Tijuana headed for unknown villages in México. For five years, Villatoro volunteered his marketing services to aid social and ecological causes. He joined the United States Peace Corps to aid small business development in rural Central America.
